NSF Engineering Research Center for Re-Inventing the Nation's Urban Water Infrastructure
Re-inventing the Nation’s Urban Water Infrastructure (ReNUWIt) is a National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center that consists of over 100 researchers at Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; Colorado School of Mines; and New Mexico State University and approximately 30 industrial partners.

- Diversity Liaison Officer (2016-17): Led the development of a Student and Postdoc Committee on Diversity and Inclusion. Developed a vision for the committee, structured bylaws, and oversaw initiatives by 12 committee members across four university campuses.
- Diversity Advisory Board Member (2015-17): Served as a student representative for Stanford University in discussions with students, faculty, and staff to help improve diversity and inclusion in the organization.
- Student leadership council (2015): Advocated for students's needs and promoted a sense of community for 20 ReNUWIt students at Stanford.
Stanford University Cycling Club
The Stanford University Cycling Club is a student-led organization aimed at promoting well-being, building community values, and empowering people through cycling. The club also has a competitive team component, which promotes athlete development by participating in races in all cycling disciplines within the Western Collegiate Cycling Conference (WCCC), sanctioned by USA Cycling.

- President (2017-18): Managed club operations, including overseeing 20 volunteer officer positions, making financial decisions for an operating budget of nearly $100K, and ensuring adequate support for over 100 club members.
- Women's captain (2016-17): Recruited women into cycling, led weekly rides, coordinated team training and racing logistics. Led the women's team time trial to win the 2017 USA Cycling Collegiate National Championship.
- Race coordinator (2015-16): Secured permits, supported race promotion, and managed volunteers for a road race hosting over 100 participants.
Leadership training
- Rising Environmental Leaders Program (RELP): Participated in an environmental policy program aimed at helping graduate students hone their leadership and communication skills to maximize the impact of scientific research. The program is sponsored by the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment and culminated in policy "bootcamps" in Washington, DC and Scramento, CA.
- California Council on Science and Technology (CCST) Science Translators Showcase: Participated in science translation workshops and presented research findings to legislators and staff at the California State Capitol. (Read more)
- The Art and Science of High Performance Teams: Workshop on team dynamics, building good relationships, enhancing trust, and increasing accountability, led by the National Conflict Resolution Center.
- Management Matters: Workshop on effective communication and managing people, led by the Stanford Office of the Vice-Provost for Graduate Education.
- AccessERC Capacity Building Institute: Workshop on promoting the engagement of people with disabilities in STEM, led by AccessERC at the University of Washington
